A Pretty Quilt for a Girl


Cheryl made this for her grand daughter.  I have quilted a number of this design over the years and I think it is a lovely quilt.


Cheryl wanted me to emphasise the appliqué, so I did small loops in the background and outlined the larger appliqué.  Cheryl chose an allover freehand daisy and butterfly pattern for the remainder of the quilt.

    Pretty quilt and quilted beautifully ... the applique looks as though it is sitting on top of the quilt top.
