A Week of Quilts – Bonus Day Eight



This is one of Michelle Yeo’s quilts.  We debated custom quilting this quilt, but decided on an intense freehand allover feather design.



I like how the feathers show in the plain areas but don’t distract from the complexity of Michelle’s design.

    Very nice. I'm glad to see that we don't always need to do custom quilting to make a quilt beautiful. :) The texture is lovely.

    I love the color of the Michelle Yeo quilt shown here and I often think there is far too much clashing in some quilts. This looks really difficult and I am really impressed with the quilting. I agree in that I like how the feathers do not take away from the design.
