A Man’s Quilt

The majority of the quilts I do, for myself as well as for customers, are made to be used.  They are made as presents for loved ones, to throw over the couch, or to put on the bed.  Usually these are quilted with an allover pattern as it gives the quilt a nice soft finish.

This is an example.  Made by Gail for her father, the fabrics are gorgeous, and very masculine.  It was quilted with an allover freehand feather plume, which really complimented the quilt.

The back was pieced and shows the quilting really well.

  1. Love both the quilting detail and the fabric patterns. Very masculine but beautiful too!
