Curved Cross Hatching Border

This is another one of Janet Sansom’s beautiful embroidery quilts.  I had quilted curved cross hatching on a previous quilt for Janet, which she liked. (Click here to see it).  So for this one I wanted to continue experimenting with the curved cross hatching and do something different in the border.  I think it has come up really pretty.

This is the high tech gadget that I use to mark the centre of the feather wreath (which I do with chalk).

  11. Desley, I have just stumbled across your INCREDIBLE work via Pinterest! Holy Mother of the Quilting Gods are you GOOD! I've been quilting for a _ahem_ long time, but you are simply one of the finest machine quilters I have ever seen. You have inspired me to take longarm lessons and get my little mid-arm set up. I sure wish we lived on the same continent, but no matter, if I have a worthy enough quilt top to send to you, that's what airmail is for, lol! Absolute eye candy for quilters, I am in awe of your talent!
