Sydney Quilt Show – Part 4

The final instalment of my Sydney Show posts is devoted to Mariya Waters.  Her quilts are always incredible, and I find her quilting so inspiring.

The detail on this quilt given its size is extremely impressive.

This quilt blew me away.  Not only was it impressively designed and pieced, but the quilting complements it perfectly.  I particularly like how the quilting on the sky and the water as it gives the quilt movement.

  4. As a quilter of miniatures I am totally impressed with that small quilt. Lately I have been doing some large pieces to try to whittle down my stash but will be back to miniatures again soon.
