This gorgeous quilt was made by Annemarie. It is a Moda Collection for a Cause pattern
that came in a tin printed with a picture of the quilt.
All the sashing and blocks were ditch stitched and I CCed the
pinwheels. The plain squares had a
mini feather wreath. There were 182 full
mini wreaths, and 28 half mini wreaths in this quilt.
After that many feather wreath repeats...can you do them with your eyes closed??? That is such a wonderful quilt and the stitching is perfectly appropriate......Feathers are my addiction, too, but you have them perfected!!!! Hugs, Doreen
ReplyDelete182...I'd have lost my mind :-) beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHoly heck, that is a lot of repeats! Did you free hand them?
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning quilt.
This is amazing!
ReplyDeletebeautiful! are you crossed eyed yet?!!
ReplyDeleteOh! How nice to see one all worked up and quilted! You did such a pretty job with it. I have this kit partially sewn in my long-lonnnnng-term UFO storage. Will have to get it finished.
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful! I would have gone nuts too. That is where a computer would be so appreciated but I suppose all those starts and stops with that is just as repetitive. Love the linear lines in this from the all over pic. You always come up with stunning designs.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing effort. All those feathered blocks certainly make for a stunning looking quilt.
ReplyDeleteI don't envy you. I had 160 little blocks in my last quilt and the extra blocks you had would have put me in the looney bin. Congrats on your hard and time consuming work.
