More William Morris

This is Val’s quilt, and the design is by Michele Hill.

Val likes very light quilting, so asked me to only outline all the appliqué, and quilt a circle behind the unframed appliqué.

This give a lovely soft finish to the quilt.

I have quilted versions of this design by Michele Hill several times.

Click here to see Margaret’s version – Margaret only did half of the appliqué blocks leaving me plenty of space for quilting feathers.

Click here to see Noelene’s version – Noelene didn’t appliqué the bows and had me McTavish the background.

  2. All three quilts are gorgeous. Just shows how different the same quilt can look when different people make the same pattern. I love them all.
