Exquisitely appliquéd, this stunning quilt was made by
Wendy, and the design is by Esther Aliu called Hearts Desire.
Wendy’s quilt was a pleasure to quilt. I quilted a background fill of small curls to
make the appliqué pop. I also quilted feathers around some of the border, and
around the centre block. Some of the
larger pieces of appliqué were outlined to anchor it.
